I don't know you personally but I was going through search engine to see whether I could find any Nigerian Musician in Nashville, Tennessee, where I am based helping to grow a newly planted Church/ministry, and I saw your name. I am a songwriter/singer, musician and Psalmist. Please whenever you schedule your next visit again to Nashville, kindly contact us. Please call anytime and we will love to connect with your ministry in Atlanta.

What a surprize! I'm so happy to stumble across your amazing success since I lost contact with you after you left Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Do you remember the tall bearded guy that invited you to the Baptist Student Union? I am privileged to have counted you my friend and I am amazed at what God had and has done through you. You were the first African to come to the Baptist Students Union, and I was proud to see how you nobly withstood a very cold reception. But that motivated me to see that attitude brought to an end as I forced them to get comfortable with so many internationals that it became their favorite hangout, and we started an all-Black (except for me) Gospel choir that eventually became the BSF. You opened my eyes to what God is doing in Africa and how we are one in Jesus and encouraged me to boldly go wherever he leads including South Africa June 1995, and that has led me to become a missionary here in Monterrey, Mexico. I Married an outstanding Mexican Methodist leader (Susy) and we are raising our three kids (Jonathan - 15, David - 13, and Joanna - 10) while I teach university English (to pay the bills) and Hebrew to seminarians and interested church folk. May our Father continue to bless you as you "Rise and Shine", for His honor and glory

Dr. Okeke, I bless the Lord for coming across your music once again. I first heard it in early 90s on Kenya's only TV KBC then and purchased a cassette. A brother borrowed it and as you know in Africa…...., I never got it back! I have asked all my Nigerian friends about you, googled you and so forth. Then an hour ago, ...bang! Oh how I love Shomi Lojo! My Nigerian pals laugh so much when I try to sing it but now, I am getting it. Your music blessed me a lot. I don't think I have had any music long in my heart as this. It is an honor to glorify God with you. Thank you and the Lord increase you abundantly.

Dear Dr. Mike Okeke, your collections which is now released under the title "THE BEST OF DR. MIKE OKEKE" has ministered to me over many years. I came across your songs in 1984 in Kano Nigeria and I bought the cassette but the tape got damaged some few years back and I have no where to get it replaced here in India. Can you please direct me where to get the CD in Iowa, USA? My friend is on his way to the state of Iowa for one week conference, and I have requested him to buy the CD if he can find it in Iowa.

Good evening, Dr. Mike. As a matter of fact I have never heard about your music before maybe because I'm a musician of a younger generation. However, I'm so convinced by reading through people's testimonies about you on your website that you have touched so many lives through your music. I have mix feelings of joy and surprise when I read the testimony of my General Overseer, Pastor Cosmas Ilechukwu of the Charismatic Renewal Ministry about you and how your music touched his life so greatly. This gave me an insight to the kind of man you are. I do really concur that you are a blessing to your generation of music listeners. Please keep up the good work. The Lord has called me into this same ministry and I have a strong passion to affect so many lives through it via my music production. Your fatherly advice and counsel will surely help me. Please I need some words of advice and direction from you. Thank you, sir.

Dear Dr. Mike Okeke, firstly, I thank God that you are still alive and doing well. Oh my God! God is indeed Gracious. Please I need to procure some of your albums especially your first album which you released in 1976 titled "God Is Gracious". I was about 13 years old then and I think it is classic material. Please let me know how I can get this album. May God continue to bless you. Your fan,

Dr. Okeke, I've been looking for your songs: REVOLUTION IN MY LIFE, BROADEN MY VISION, STIRE UP MY LOVE, and OTHERS ON YOU TUBE. Can you upload them on youtube or direct me to where I can get them. I was a teenager when those songs were released then and they inspired my generation then.
Uyoyo Alogbe, Nigeria. 7/25/2012
So glad to catch you on the internet and to know that you are still well and kicking. Just two weeks ago I used some lines in one of your songs to write my tribute to three different Christian mentors of mine whose demise occurred within a week. Two of them died through sickness and the other one died in the DANA air crash in Nigeria early this month. The lyrics I borrowed from your song are these: 'Life is a mystery, that's only known to God; also known to Jesus, the only Son of God; life is filled with wonders that no one can explain; life a mystery to me'. When I gave my life to Jesus your songs made my day. So glad to be connected with you. I remembered watching you once on the NTA TV broadcasting station, Enugu on how you draw inspiration for your songs. Heaven is Real!!!

Good morning sir. Please sir, I live in Nigeria and I have been searching for the following albums of yours: (a) Sin is killing, (b) Revolution in my life and (c) Jesus saves, but could not get them from the market. I also don't have credit card to buy any of it online. Please can I pay for the albums in Nigerian currency so they may be sent to me through a courier service from the U.S.A. to Nigeria? Thanks.

Keep up the good work and my warmest regards to you and your family, and wishing you unparallel success in all that you do.

Bro Mike, you were really used by God to minister the gospel through music. I heard Jesus is My Ebenezer as a child, probably while on holiday at Port Harcourt in 1977. When I became born again, many years later, I was still humming the tune of that song . Your composition in that Album has been used by God to help me in this heavenly race. I believe that you were just inspired! I eventually got a copy in 2001 when a friend of mine dubbed a copy for me and gave it to my sister to give me in The Netherlands. I still cannot explain how I lost that music in 2009. Since then, I have been making efforts to get a new copy but to no avail. In my quest to get another copy, I even called a Gospel Music distributor in Aba (last month) to request this song. But since I could not tell him the artist or the name of the album, he was unable to help me. It is today that I know the title of the album and the artist who played it. You don't know how much your 1976 Album blesses me. It is my prayer that you would not have run this heavenly race in vain. May God bless you!

Beloved Dr. Mike, I bring you loving greetings in the name of our loving Savior, Jesus Christ. You cannot quantify my pleasure to discover you after so many years. I knew you in the seventies (70s) both at Nnewi High School and Okongwu Memorial Grammar School. You were one of our senior students at that time, so I admired you from a distance. I gave my life to Christ in 1977 during my first year at the University of Ife, and your music, Jesus is My Ebenezer, next to the Bible, was my greatest inspiration. I kept a copy of Jesus is my Ebenezer until recently when the cassette got damaged beyond repair. I knew when you left Nigeria for Scotland, UK and subsequently heard the rumors that you were no longer in the faith. What a deep sorrow that news brought to my heart. I didn't know it was not true. You can't imagine how I prayed for you then, pleading with God that the composer of those great songs that drew me to God could not just abandon the faith like that. I subscribed to the Nnewi internet forum in 2005, through Nnaerika Okonkwo, when I came to US briefly for my doctorate. Ever since, I have been hearing about Dr Mike Okeke, Ifekanku, but never associated that name with you until today when I read about this special launching of your gospel music CD. To be sure it was you, I followed the link, and listened to the heavenly, Jesus is my Ebenezer. What a joy, to discover it is you! God bless you Dr Mike, your obedience to your calling fed my soul. I still live in Nigeria, but do come to USA often. I am the General Overseer of the Charismatic Renewal Ministries. We have hundreds of churches all over Nigeria and in several other countries including the USA. I am overjoyed for meeting you in this way. What a comfort my heart now feels. Give my love to your family. It shall be well with you.

Dear Dr. Mike Okeke, "Ifekaanku", Greetings! "Grace to you and peace from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ." You're one of the multi-talented Nigerians I know now. The impeccable write-up by your adorable daughter, Adora Adorable Okeke summarizes it. I didn't know much about you until we paneled together at the symposium to honor the late Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu in Atlanta. Also during the IUA general election in February, when you hinted that your birthday will arrive at midnight or so, I encouraged you to inform the IUA official to announce it. And now, this teaser from you regarding your musical compilation. I have since then perused your website, read through your biography, which highlighted your multi-career accomplishments; I think that you are just one of the greatest Nigerians. You are simply an inspiration to me. Blessings in abundance, In Christ Love & Leadership,

Ifekanku na Nnewi, what a beautiful music of praises! You still maintain the "Sweet breeze" rhythm and you have incorporated it into your gospel tunes. Bravo Mike! "Ife amulu amu ka ife agwolu agwo". Thanks.

Nice one!!! Ifekanku. The Lord that has started this great work in you will bring it to an expected end in Jesus name. By the way, I like the concept of 'love' and 'pain' in understanding what Christ means to an African and those in the western world. Interesting!!!!!!!!!!t

Mike, I had your album (God is Gracious) in 1977, took it with me to the University of Lagos (Unilag) and a student borrowed it from me and never returned it. Of course, I had no money to buy another one (indigent student). Also we made so many trips to 2 Grant street Enugu for Mama Goddy Oku (my Mom's good friend) to take measurements and sew clothes for us. Good old days! I need this album please.
Amala Onwualu, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. 4/28/2012
Dear Mike, you surely sent me back on our memory lane. Good memory. Great spiritual memory. Thank you for publishing these. Few years ago (when you visited us in Minnesota), I asked you about these soul-touching praises to our Lord, you told me that you were putting them together. Now, you did. Thank you. "Jesus is my Ebenezar", one of my best listenings, is now added to other equally elevating songs of yours. Bring us a copy at the convention in Dallas. You should also have a booth there, for others to witness this part of our Lord's inspiration in you. To God Be All Glory!!!

Nice one!!! Ifekanku. The Lord that has started this great work in you will bring it to an expected end in Jesus name. By the way, I like the concept of 'love' and 'pain' in understanding what Christ means to an African and those in the western world. Interesting!!!!!!!!!!t

Ifekanku! Your US TV interview of 1986 was great. You delivered the right message as you were given (from the above) and I thank God you are staying the course. May He sustain you and guide us all with His wisdom, till He returns. Soon.
